Banana Blueberry Baby Pancakes
Soft, nutritious, and perfect for little hands! These baby-led weaning pancakes are naturally sweet, easy to make, and loved by babies and toddlers alike.
Ingredients (Makes ~6-8 mini pancakes)
1 ripe banana
1 large egg
2 tbsp whole milk plain yogurt
2–3 tbsp whole wheat flour
2–3 tbsp crushed blueberries (fresh or thawed frozen)
Small amount of butter or oil for cooking
Tip: Start with 2 tbsp flour and add more if the batter is too thin.
Instructions
Mash the banana until very smooth.
Add in the crushed blueberries, egg, flour, and yogurt.
Stir until the batter is thick but still spoonable. Add another tbsp of flour if it’s very runny.
Heat a nonstick pan over low–medium heat and lightly brush with butter or oil.
Spoon small pancakes (about 2–3 inches) onto the pan.
Cook 2–3 minutes per side, until lightly golden and set.
Cool completely before serving to your baby.
Tip for BLW babies: Keep pancakes small or cut into strips so little hands can grab them easily. A slightly gooey center is perfect for soft gums and teeth!
